Does anyone here know if Freddie knew that Jack had cancer or not?
This may be totally off the wall, but i just wondered if when Freddie was going through such turmoil if he thought what his life would be like without Jack and that added to his pain? I wonder too if Freddie ever knew that Jack had left Freddie in his own will. I thought Jack knew he had cancer before Freddie passed away but maybe he didn't. |

If I'm not mistaken Jack's bout with cancer happened years after Freddie left us.

Yep, Jack passed on in the early 80's not long after CATM went off, maybe a few yrs later. I think if Freddie had been living when Jack died, he would've just cried his eyes out & been devastated. How I wish they had both lived.

If memory serves me, Jack was not ill until long after Freddie had left us. I am sure it would have been a very emotional time for Freddie had he been here. We all know how broken hearted Jack was when Freddie died. They had a connection that was so strong, it even shone thru in their performances. As I did watch part of the E! Story, I recall Dusty saying it was like Jack and Freddie had been father and son in another life..... I couldn't think of a better way to put it. It was clear that they had a genuine affection for one another.
