Frasier and Niles weren't exactly football player macho, they weren't interested in the stereotypical "man" things, and weren't exactly the typr of men to hang out at Hooters . How many times were they mistaken for homosexuals ?

I can think of two examples off the top of my head. There's "The Matchmaker," where Frasier brought home a co-worker in hopes of setting him up w/ Daphne, only to find out the guy was interested in him instead! And there's the one in S10 where Frasier was seen in a gay bar.

Wasn't there an episode where Frasier, Niles, Daphne, a woman, and a homosexual all spend the weekend at a mountain cabin, and Niles tries to get closer to Daphne, and the homosexual tries to get better acquainted with Niles ? Nobody makes any progress, and everbody clears the air at the end .

There was also the time in "The Proposal," when they were picking out Daphne's ring that they were mistaken for a couple.
And the time that Frasier was friends with that Alistair guy, and Alistair thought Frasier was gay.

Ha ha... I felt sorry for both of them in those instances! Imagine being mistaken for someone's partner when that person is in fact your brother! But we all know that Niles' heart belonged to Daphne!

And the one where the famous composer and Frasier started hanging out and the composer with held from sex to compose and told his friends, "If you don't believe me, you can ask Frasier."
and what about that one where someone thought Frasier was gay and then Niles and Niles replied, "He thinks I'm gay and I'm standing next to my pregnant wife." |

Pat, I believe those are both from the same episode, the one w/ Patrick Stewart. I'm too lazy to look up the title right now! LOL!

It was a lot of times, I think, probably even more times than were mentioned in dialogue. My guess is people in general thought they were gay before they thought they were straight.
