that none of the retro networks have snapped up the rights to it? It seems we have seen Paramount, Universal and Sony's libraries been swapped over time amongst RTV, Me-TV and Antenna TV, but none of them have ever bother to buy the Warner library for their schedules. Do you think Warner wants too much money or is there another reason? I know basically that RTV is really out of the race in terms of competing with the other two who have emerged as the leaders in the OTA digital broadcasters--they seem to have the pull and funding sources to obtain the more lucrative programming.

I'm not sure, but I heard Warner Bros only or mainly wants to deal with cable channels, which of course is stupid on Warner Bros part.

It does suck when a show that you love is not on DVD, Cable, Digital TV, or You Tube

Which is why anyone with half a brain videotaped those shows when they had the chance years ago. |

Goodlife (Later American Life) ran several Warner Brothers Classic TV Series including 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, Surfside 6, Bourbon Street Beat, The FBI and The Gallent Men among others a few years ago.

Too bad they didn't do anything with all of their sitcoms, like Hank, No Time For Sergeants, Mr. Roberts, The Little People and Room For One More.

I find it funny how they're holding out but the last time I saw any Warner shows outside of DVDs and cable was on MeTV (during the pre-nationally expanded MeTV days) and MeToo when they aired Maverick, 77 Sunset Strip, The Adventures of Superman and Eight is Enough.

Actually, I remember Me Too in Chicago was airing Gilligan's Island not that long ago. They just changed their schedule about a month ago and its off the lineup now, but it was there before. I see they also took off Who's the Boss and One Day at a Time but they still have some other good shows. I just wish Me Too was national too.

WB has a made-to-order shop now and syndication is becoming more and more irrelevant.
