Sight And Sound Poll 2012: Critics Name Vertigo The Best Film of all Time

Critics have named Vertigo the best film of all time, according to the 2012 greatest movies poll.

Conducted every 10 years by Sight and Sound Magazine, the poll brings together 846 critics and 358 directors to weigh in on the best films of all time.

The last time the poll took place, in 2002, Citizen Kane took the top spot. However, this time it was Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 masterpiece that got the nod, moving up from its previous number two position.

Personally I would choose "Casablanca"!
