Default The Fabulous Pack Pre -Grand Funk 1967

To think that they would come and practice at our high school Sock Hops! How cool is that?

Very Cool! A little different from the Grand Funk of the 70's. I thought Mark Farner was so sexy back in the day & he still looks & sounds good.

Terry Knight & The Pack were a great band. Michigan had some great bands in the 60's (Question Mark & The Mysterians, The Rationals, SRC, etc.)

Mark Farner is my best friend's cousin. I met him once before he was famous at her house when I was 14 he must have been about 17. He was into music at that time too.Actually just getting started. This was before Terry and The Pack. Don Brewer went to my high school. He was 3 grades ahead of me. He is from my home town but the others are from Flint, MI which is just 10 miles east of here. The Pack used to play at all of the local teen clubs in the 60's. I saw them several times.

Another Flint Mich. band was Zookie and The Potentates. They had a local hit record called "Telephony". Ever heard of them? I had a huge crush on Zookie But Paul McCartney was my no. 1 babe!

That sounds like a great place to have been a teenager & getting to hear all those different bands must have been so much fun.
