Hawkeye Pierce was from Crabapple Cove, Maine, B . J . Hunnicutt was from Mill Valley, California, Major Winchester was from Boston, Massachusetts, Colonel Potter was from Hannibal, Missouri, Max Klinger was from Toledo, Ohio, Radar O'Reilly was from Ottumwa, Iowa, and Frank Burns was from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Margaret Houlihan was an army nurse, and army nurses have to keep being moving around . Did they ever say where Henry Blake, "Trapper John" McIntyre, and Father Mulcahy were from ?

I posted this question a few days ago, and nobody really saw it because it was buried among several other threads . I decided to work back in, partly to push it up to the front of the line, and partly to answer my own question . In the past few days, I learned that Henry Blake was from Bloomington, Indiana, and Father Mulcahy was from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . That leaves "Trapper John" McIntyre . Where was "Trapper John" McIntyre from ?

Thank you . I wish I knew about that website before I posted this question ? I had a feeling . I read another thread that hinted "Trapper John" was from Boston . Charles Emerson Winchester and "Trapper John" McIntyre were both members of Boston's medical community . Imagine Charles Emerson Winchester and "Trapper John" McIntyre somehow meeting .

Henry Blake was from Bloomington, Illinois, not Indiana. He went to the University of Illinois (his I sweater) and met his wife Lorraine at Illinois Normal College.
