Default Catholic Schools Week

Well, it's this week. Is anyone celebrating it?

Do other Catholic schools in the U.S.A even know about it....? I thought it was a Springfield Diocesan thing...?

I dunno. I always thought that the little saying things they have for each year were national. And then there's the little saying thing for each diocese. Does that make any sense? I dunno.

It is a week, usually this time of year, where Catholic schools are celebrated. The Catholic schools do special things all week long, and have fun activities. It started on Sunday at Mass and lasts until Friday. It's almost like a promotional week for Catholic schools to show the good academic and spiritual programs they have. It's a fun week for the students!
Oh, and Karli, I asked my mom, and she said Catholic Schools Week is a national thing.

yep! my school does it! We're doing it this week too. Let's see, on Monday we wore dress up clothes and went ot chruch, on tuesday, we ran laps to help raise money to help find a cure for the disease Hunter Kelly has, wednesday each junior high class was assigned a country and we had to bring in food from that country and then we got to eat it all (it was quite yummy! lol) thursday (today) we wore mis-matched clothes and had a lip sync which is always good times (hehe) an tomorrow, friday, we wear green and gold (our school colors) and go ice skating and the girls varsity bball team plays the boys varsity bball team, guys are soooo goin down ! lol. The best thing about catholic schools week is that the classes are always limited cuz of all the activites we do and that means less hw and we don't have to wear uniforms for a whole week! lol

Awesome, Kellie! I was beginning to think I was the only person who'd ever heard of Catholic Schools Week... We only had two days where we didn't have to wear our uniforms! You're lucky that you had the whole week. Hehe. CSW is usually good times. We played in a volleyball game against the teachers... one of the teachers hit the ball and it landed right on my principal's head! LOL

hahaha, yeah the bball game today boys varsity against girls varsity was really fun. Of course, the girls lost. lol. The score was 29-37 so we actually played pretty well. And I scored 6 times!! lol. Too bad on monday we'll have to go back to uniforms and getting a lot of hw again, ugh

We celebrate catholic schools week next week..
Monday is guest reader day..thats where someone well..reads us a book! lol
Tuesday is open house for the parents to come in
wednesday is student appreciation day! my class prolly wont get it though! i will post why in a few, but that day we only do work in the mornin and then do all this fun stuff in the afternoon! you get to pick a theme like Pajama day, crazy hair day, sex change (boy dresses like girl, girl dresses like boy) etc..
thursday is open house again and friday is teacher appreciation day and we get out at 12:30pm instead of 2:30pm!! yay

our saying for this year is, "where faith and knowledge meet" and we had to write an essay on that topic or why we love going to this school..!

Cool! Hey, that's the national saying for this year, I think, because we had to write an essay on that topic too! Hehe. I had to read mine at church. Enjoy Catholic Schools Week!
