I KNOW Im not crazy but did these cases air on UM? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

So as I was looking across some of the “Unaired Cases” I remembered one that I KNOW did air on UM. It was about a boy who was hit by a car and I guess the driver stuck around and then left. The boy was eventually taken off life support and died (or he might have died on his way to the hsp. I have horrible memory with these cases). Another one I recall is about an African American woman looking for a cop who helped her as a child. She was sent to a military type school by her father who was also sexually abusing her. Eventually she opened up to the cop about what was happening. Please tell me I’m not crazy and these cases actually aired! H e l p! All of you are UM experts!

The first case was the case where they were looking for the hit and run driver, Cachimba, but I've forgotten the name of the victim. The reason for that is that I seriously can't watch the case. It's too sad.

The second one I remember the woman's name was Cathy but I've forgotten her last name. I LOVE that segment and she reunited with him but I haven't seen it in about a decade.

I really liked the case about Cathy. I don’t recall an update but I’m glad they have reunited!

The hit and run case really gets to me!

I wonder if they ever found the driver

The woman who was reunited with the police officer was named Cathy Lovings, but her maiden name when she was put in prison (she was only 15 at the time) was Williams.

Also, the hit-and-run victim was 11-year-old Pedro Santiago Jr. of Chicago. He was hit on the way to a friend's house on the afternoon of December 12, 1990. IIRC, Pedro went into a coma and died the day after Christmas in 1990.

Cachimba's real name is Gerardo Gonzalez and he's originally from Cuba. As far as I know, he was never captured.

I'm almost positive you will find the hit and run case if you type in "Cachimba" since I've seen it posted before. It may have been taken down.

I'd love to see the Cathy Lovings segment since it's happier and one of my favorite lost love cases. As far as I know it's not up.
