I went with The Jeffersons. Because I loved The Jeffersons and, I have actually never seen Amen. I would like to though. I will have to look at the library and, see if it's in stock. I have no doubt it was great. Sherman was a comic genius.

Oh DEFINITELY The Jeffersons. Sherman was fantastic on T.J. And the writing, for the most part, was superb. Never was a super fan of Amen, although I certainly didn't dislike it. Sherman was also really great on All In The Family.

Aside from the pilot episode that aired as an episode of All In The Family, I haven't seen The Jeffersons, but Sherman Hemsley was great as George Jefferson when he lived next door to the Bunkers!

Sherman Hemsley, you will be missed!

I'd say the Jeffersons b/c I never watched "Amen" that much at all. I also liked him on "All in the Family" but that's kinda the same thing as "The Jeffersons"!

except the cast from "All In The Family" were mostly white while the main cast of "The Jeffersons" were mostly black (not that i'm trying to be racists at all of course)

He was awesome on both "All in the Family" and "The Jefferson's". His first appearance was special, as it was the only time he and Mel Stewart appeared together.

You are not the first to ask, so it's not stupid. But their appearance together was All in the Family.
