Default Favorite TV Period Piece

For some reason, I've always loved period pieces. I've always had an interest in history and loved the way shows set the tone of another era, whether spot-on or hilariously missing the mark. What are your favorites?

American Dreams with Wonder Years and Happy Days close behind.

Another period piece I've always been interested in is the short-lived Homefront but I've never been able to find it anywhere

Happy Days and M*A*S*H

Is it to early to see a show today set in the 90s? I think that would be kind of cool.

'Homefront' was a great show and needs to be on DVD.

I vote for 'Little House' and 'The Waltons'.

I actually think it would be the perfect time for a show set in '90s. There's so much '90s nostalgia these days, I definitely think something like that could become a huge hit.

I don't think it is too early. I would love to see a 90s based show. That was when I grew up. I mean I was 8 in 1990. I'm 30 now a lot has changed.
