"Heroes" alum Jack Coleman will guest-star on the new season of "Castle", TVLine reports.

Coleman will play a popular U.S. senator who becomes an antagonist to Beckett (Stana Katic). Might he somehow be connected to the cover-up surrounding Beckett's mother's murder?

TVLine can now reveal another intriguing piece of the puzzle that is "Castle‘s" Season 8 premiere.

Disgraced senator William Bracken, who pulled many puppet strings in orchestrating Johanna Beckett’s years-ago murder, will “be back in a surprising way,” new co-showrunner Terence Paul Winter tells TVLine.

Jack Coleman last appeared as Bracken in Season 6’s penultimate episode, “Veritas,” when the ambitious politician saw his White House bid handcuffed by, well, handcuffs.
