Their should have been 2 part episode where we find out he had a Learning Disability he had everything kids have with this problem,being lazy,low grades, constantly getting themselves in trouble, he barely graduated from high school his gpa had to be low.

He was not in that condition. He was a teenager. He didn't care about his grades so much because he was "too busy" thinking about other things, girls, hanging out and such... I think he was in a peer pressure, that's all. It was important to him to impress.

Well theo from the cosby show was similar to eddie they were both slackers in school and were girl crazy like most teenage boys but they did not do anything bad like most of their friends were doing behind their backs, theo and eddie were good boys who kept themselves out of trouble thanks to being brought up by good parents, eddie was kinda young to be a cop 21 years old thats a joke he should have chose a different career when he was nearly killed by that lunatic the only thing that saved his life was the bulletproof vest and mostly his tall stature at 6'4 he was lucky for his giant size if he was shorter like carl he might have died.

Lol...Eddie was just lazy, girl crazy and had terrible judgment throughout seasons 2 through 9 up until he became a cop. I find it funny how in the first season he was portrayed as dim-witted, but then by season 2 he was just an irresponsible teenager who didn't try to think things through, didn't listen to advice, and had mostly bad judgment.
