I can't believe Lin b*tch a$$ signed another offer sheet by the Rockets so that the Knicks couldn't match the offer. He is jumping ship and only played less than HALF A SEASON? Why not stay in NYC where you got a opportunity to show your skills and where the fans showed you love?

I want these players to FAIL next season

1. Ray Allen
2. Jeremy Lin

I don't think Lin did what Allen did. What Allen did was much worse. The Knicks could have matched Lins offer. But instead they got Kidd and Felton. Isn't Baron Davis still on the team too? What Allen did was worse, because he left for less money. He abandoned ship and joined the enemy, the team that just beat them in the finals. I wish Lin the best of luck with the Rockets. I do hope Allen has a terrible season though.

Lin signed another offer sheet after the first one. If he had stuck to the first one then the Knicks would have matched it but he signed a second offer sheet knowing the Knicks wouldn't be able to match. Dirty Business

I really don't blame Lin for signing the offer sheet with the Rockets. They were willing to OVERPAY for him. I would've done the same thing probably. lol

Yeah,I don't blame him a bit. The Knicks still could of matched it. Lin did what anybody would do.

Larry Brown said on the radio that Lin making $15 million in year 3 of his contract was way too much and Dolan made the right decision

Yeah,I think Lin did the right thing for him. And the Knicks did the right thing for them. Knicks replaced him, I mean they got Kidd And Felton two starting point guards for different teams last year. The Blazers and The Mavericks.

And that was STUPID. Why sign a 77 year old Point Guard before your YOUNG and UPCOMING point guard??

Jason Kidd to me is still a great pt. guard. Lins only played well for one year. When the chips are down come playoff time. I think Kidd is still the better player. He would give you the better chance of winning games, especially with a nice change of pace younger better scorer on the bench like Felton. But Kidd is a veteran leader something the Knicks need in the worst way. Kidd can stabilize Carmelo, Amare, Chandler, Felton etc.

Have you forgotten that Kidd did nothing in the playoffs this year?

I wouldn't say that he did nothing. He made plays; he just couldn't find his shooting touch. That has always been Kidd’s problem .He is either hot or he's not. But with the Knicks they have so many other scoring options. Kidd shouldn't have to be a scorer. I think I would for the most part split minutes with him and Felton.

I watched every OKC/DAL game and he did nothing to earn a 3 year contract at 39 years old. Why would they even sign a player that old to a 3 year deal? I think once you hit 39 all deals should be one year at the max

I think Kidd still has a good 3 years in him. I personally would have probably only signed him to 1 year myself as well. At the same time though. I'd be willing to bet that he will surprise you. Nobody can play perfect all the time. So, he had one bad year big deal. He played great in the playoffs. The year before this, when they beat the heat in the finals. The Mavs struggles this year we're caused by letting Chandler go. And by the poor play of Lamar Odam. He destroyed any chemistry that team had.

I;m not going to lie Kidd was the sh*t during his Nets days but now I think he is a backup and not really a starter.

He probably is just a good veteran back up now days. I will be rooting for him to return to his old form though. I think with this team he could definitely get his assists back up to double figures. More than likely Felton will be the starter though. At least it will start out that way, from watching Felton with the Blazers. I would say he’s a better scorer than he is a passer or ball handler and he isn't a leader. We should have kept Andre Miller.
