Paul Giamatti as Michael Scott on "The Office"

Imagine if Paul Giamatti had worked at Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch.

Giamatti was reportedly pursued by NBC executives for the role of Michael Scott, but when Giamatti passed, Steve Carell was then chosen as "The Office's" leading man for seven seasons.

I think he would have done a wonderful job but I'm still glad they got Steve Carell instead.
