Ooooh! A challenge! I'll give it a shot: Designing Women, Alf, Johnny Caron, St. Elsewhere, The Cosby Show, The Simpsons, Another World, I Love Lucy, Miami Vice, L.A. Law... um... The Ed Sullivan Show (or am I pulling that one out of thin air?). Oh, and even though it's not a television SHOW--"those damn Infiniti commercials!"

They mentioned The Simpsons in the ep where Rose wants to have a yard sale. Blanche opposes the idea, saying she doesn't want [and this may not be the *exact* quote] "I don't want 50 people in Simpsons t-shirts hagglin' over the price of your 'I lost my a$$ in Vegas' mug!"

Saturday Night Live did a skit about The Golden Girls. It was a spoof of Dateline. They had a Jane Pauley phony mentioning how the MTV series, Jackass had inspired a lot of kids to do dangerous things. Then she went into this story about a group of boys who got obsessed with The Golden Girls and how one of the boys got killed trying to imitate something he saw on The Golden Girls. They interviewed his family and his friends. They even interviewed a Bea Arthur phony.

Yeah, that was pretty funny. Also Chris Kattan ruptured a disc or something like that when he fell out of his chair trying to imitate Rose, I think.

Growing Pains was referenced tonight...
Dorothy says:
