The Young and the Restless continues its former sitcom star casting spree. Dennis Haskins, best known for his role as principal Richard Belding on NBC's hit sitcom Saved By The Bell, has landed a guest spot on the sudser as a priest. What will the gang at Bayside high say about this? Look for Haskins' debut on July 13.

I'm glad to see Dennis Haskins getting this role since he has admitted in interviews that he has been typcast as Belding and work has been hard to come by after Saved by the Bell The New Class ended.

That's great! Maybe I'll even tune in to see him! It's always interesting when people who are great at comedy roles do something dramatic for a change.

I'm glad for him as well. He played that character for 12 years from 1988 to 2000. I hope he can get more roles.

His "role" on Y&R lasted all of about 30 seconds, so it didn't end up being much of anything.
