I got my Freddie Autograph!!!! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Yesterday, I got my Freddie autograph in the mail. I should've gotten it much earlier but my payment never got to the seller so I had to re-send the payment.

It was a very emotional moment for me getting the autograph. I opened up the envelope. Fortuntately the seller put it inside a plastic card thing like you put baseball & trading cards in to protect them. I still gotta decide. Do I put it in the picture frame with my pic of Chico & Ed Brown or do I put it in an album cover frame with the cover to my LOOKING GOOD album?

When I opened it up & looked at it I cried. I had to go get a hanky. It just hit me then that today is the day he shot himself. Realizing that I broke down & cried & cried. It was sooo sad. My hanky got soggy & I had to get another one. That is such a weird coincidence that it came on the day he shot himself. I wonder if maybe it came on the day he shot himself on purpose as a message to us to tell us to never forget him & always remember him & keep his memory alive? Maybe he was giving me that message. I think he wants us to remember him & never forget him.

I went into the bedroom & sat down on the bed & went & looked at some pics of him in my scrapbook of him at the same time I was looking at the autograph. I fell asleep across the bed looking at them. I had a dream about Freddie. I can't remember what it was about but a bunch of people from the CATM boards/sites like Luckymama, Mariposa, Joy, Hillbilly & so forth were in it & we all became friends with him & knew him.

I now want to know the dear sweet boy who signed his name on that piece of paper. To some folks it's just a name on a piece of paper but to me that's all that is left of him. Freddie I never knew you but I care about you...

I am having trouble deciding which of the 2 ways I wanna display my autograph.

If I put it in the picture frame with my pic of Chico & Ed Brown it will show up really good there.

Or do I put it in an album cover frame with the cover to my LOOKING GOOD album? It would look small in comparision to the album cover & might now show up as good but would have it displayed kinda to itself...

Doggone I forgot to put my poll in & a scan of the autograph where I sharpened it up so you can see the autograph better...

Yikes won't let me post a poll so just let me know which way would work better for me in displaying it. I may just make up my mind anyway but it never hurt to have some help LOL!

Follow your instincts.... I am sure whatever you decide, it will be special and have your own personal touch.

I want to say that I believe there are NO coinsidences....the autograph showed up when it did for a reason. The exact reason, no one may ever really know....but it definately had a significance.

Treasure your momento.... as I am sure you will. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations Cheryl!!! This is so wonderful. I am very happy for you and can totally relate to what an emotional moment this was for you. I agree with Tylersmistress and feel that the date it arrived to you is not coincidence. Your feelings of his desire to be remembered are definitely a factor.

We appreciate your sharing this with us. I am very happy for you and know that this is something you will always treasure.
