I'm planning a trip to go to Las Vegas around August and one of my favorite things to do on vacation is to go on those haunted ghost tours.
I was looking on what tours they have available and for the "celebrity haunts" they have John Elroy Sanford (Redd Foxx) who haunts his former Las Vegas residence. People who have moved in there since Foxx was evicted by the IRS for tax problems say that Foxx's ghost haunts the house. Is anyone familiar with this? I just wasn't expecting to see Redd Foxx featured on a ghost tour. By the way, some other "celebrity haunts" of Vegas are Elvis and Liberace. |

I've heard this story before. When I heard it the people there were saying they mostly heard someone walking around and doors slamming with no one around them. They said one door in particular had led to a swimming pool in Redd's day. That door would slam at all different time for no apparent reason.

I don't believe it for a minute. I went ghost hunting in Hollywood and didn't see anything. I checked that mirror in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and the 9th floor nothing. I tried searching for George Reeves mansion which is suppose to be haunted too and couldn't find it.

I don't believe in ghosts/spirits, but I like going on these haunted tours because I just find them to be more interesting than those "regular tours".
The ghost tours that I went on in Gettysburg I found very cool; I liked how they combined real history with the ghost legends. Elvis I could understand being on a ghost tour but I just didn't expect to see Redd Foxx featured on one. |
