I am trying to identify some of the posters and pictures that were inside the Three's Company apartment. I don't know if they were legitimate works by professional artists independent of the show, or if they were created expressly for the show itself.
The first is the profile of a woman hanging on the wall just behind the front door (between the door and the curtains). The second is the (pencil?) drawing of what looks like a goddess, hanging in the living room opposite the hinges of the kitchen door. The drawing hanging above Crissy's bed appears to be the same. The female figure is in a slinky standing position similar to the common posture typically seen in works of Aphrodite, but I cannot find the exact picture on Google. I managed to get a close-up screenshot during a scene where Crissy was sitting in bed, as the picture was right behind her, and it appears to be signed "murfia". No luck on google, however, under the goddess's feet appear greek letters that are probably the name. The third is the painting directly above the telephone, that appears to show two people stooping to talk to a person sitting in a chair. The fourth is a clearly professional abstract by the known "Arpad Szenes", sitting to the left of the bathroom door, but I cannot find that exact work on the internet. The last, for now, is the painting, showing several wild animals, also to the left of the bathroom door. Thanks for your help. I can provide screenshots if need be. |

Being a big Beatles fan, i really like the Beatles poster in Jacks room. Which makes me wonder, what ever happened to all those posters? You know being from a huge show like Theees Company, if they were still around, they would be worth a lot of money now.

the words at the bottom of the painting are just fancy English, not Greek

Further research has established that the alleged Greek lettering at the bottom of this painting is just English, and says "PRINTEMPS". A google search confirmed that this is one of four "Seasons" Paintings by Alphonse Mucha (I incorrectly guessed from the screenshot that the signature toward the bottom right of the painting said "Murfia".)
compare the screenshots (attached) with the full painting online: http://www.moravska-galerie.cz/media...cha-trust-.jpg |

I'm a huge Beatles fan as well and I've been looking for that poster for years! I thought I read somewhere that John put that poster up since he was a Beatles fan himself. Maybe he took it when the show went off the air. |
