Default Rhoda's Boss in season 4="Mr. Grant"

It is so obvious that they were trying to give Rhoda a similar boss that Mary Richards had because "Jack Doyle" looked like Mr. Grant, he sounded like Mr. Grant, and he was built like Mr. Grant. He looks like he can be related to Ed Asnet

So it was clear at this point of the series they were trying what worked on MTM since that show was no longer on the air.
