It looks like in another shocking turn of events. Are former superstar and, future of our team.Has joined the Minnesota Timberwolves. Not only that but are best defencive player Nick Batum. Is trying his best to go join the Twolves aswell.Let me just say.I think the Twolves will be able to compete with anyone next year. And it's going to be very hard for me to not buy a Twolves hat.B.Roy was my fav player when he was here.I did the samething when Clyde went to the Rockets and Favre went to the Jets and Vikes.
That being said,it's very dissappointing as a life long Trail Blazer fan.Now we have to watch our best player since Clyde Drexler. Go play for somebody else.I was saying last season this was going to happen and for us not to let Roy go.I also said that we should of hired Adleman as our coach before minnesota did. I mean what team seems more like the Blazers? The team with my fav player B.Roy and my fav coach Rick Adleman or the team with a bunch of new guys.Who i bairly if at all know.It sucks! That being said there are still some promising pieces on the Blazers team and it could work. But it's just going to be hard to root for them. When my fav player is playing else where

I'd say any Cleveland Franchise has the worst luck...EVER!

We have certainly had more then our fair share of bad luck here in P-Town throughout the years. Walton's injuries, Roy's early retirement, Oden's numerous injuries, Sabonis waiting until 1995 to join the team, etc. I think just as much as our bad luck though has been poor decision making in upper management. The two most obvious being Bowie over Jordan and Hakeem, and Oden over Durant. There have been other teams with a great deal of bad luck, Cleveland, L.A. Clippers, etc, but we are certainly up there on that list, atleast in the top three I would say.

It sucks! The team we had with B. Roy, A. Miller, N. Batum, L. Aldridge, and M. Camby. I thought we actually had a chance of creating that kind of greatness we we're used to with Clyde and, company. It just didn't quite work out like that. I hope this team we have now will be good. But I have trouble finding much confidence in it.

And if you break it down, here's how many opportunities Cleveland have been attempted since 1964... 60's-10 70's-31 80's-30 90's-28 2000's-30 2010's-9 138 Times that Cleveland couldn't win...and the Heat/Thunder Game prooved that The Cleveland Curse is Stronger than any other in Sports History. (And if you type in "Seven Curses of Cleveland Sports"...there's an article I made two years ago that's on top. So the world CAN'T end in 12/20/2012...Cleveland Couldn't win a Championship...again! And if this keeps up...I'll make a webpage called "Cleveland Sports...50 Years of Futilities"! |
