Madderest Enough with the "inspirational" ads already ANTENNA TV!

I am sorry, as much as I love the content of the programming on Antenna TV, I have to sound off here about the non-stop ads from VALUES.COM BKA subtle Christian messages.

I think it is obnoxious and really a turn off to your viewers to be bombarded with the same ads from VALUES.COM over & over & over & over & over.
ALRIGHT ALREADY!!! We get it! Is Antenna TV the only station that will allow this? I don't see these ads on any other of the 500 plus channels. What is the deal with that? It is incredibly annoying to hear these "inspirational" songs that are 20 decibels above the volume of the program your trying to enjoy, repeated 50,000 times a day 24/7.

I also am sick and tired of the other ad about parental guide ratings warning labels on videogames. It comes on about as often as the Values ads, and seems to go hand in hand with them.

I am sick of these ads. I am tuning into ME TV more often Antenna, because it is torture to hear these repeatedly. Please cease these or cut them down to a reasonable amount, and turn the volume down to what all of the other advertisers use.

I apologize to everyone on the list for this rant, but I had to vent.

Speaking as a Christian and grandmother I have no problem with these ads. The morals of this country have certainly declined and we need all the help we can get. JMHO.
These ads are paid for and are designed to reach people as do any ads. I don't watch any that don't interest me, problem solved. Have a blessed day.

I don't have a problem with your Christianity, and God Bless. I do have a problem with having Christian messages rammed down my throat, and having my eardrums blown out by the obnoxiously loud volume of the "moral" messages. How about Christian consideration for others?

I don't know what you're talking about. I never hear it on my antenna tv station.

I was thinking the same thing, could be the affiliates airing the ads and not necessarily Antenna TV.

yea, I was thinking the same thing. I don't see those ads on ANTENNA TV; it must be your local affiliate that's showing them.

Consider yourselves lucky! I receive Antenna TV via Comcast cable, and although there are some normal commercials being aired, they are interlaced with HUGE blocks of VALUES.COM messages, LOUD & LONG, lasting 5 mins or longer, and continuous. It really sucks having to listen to this between Hazel, All In The Family, Three's Company, Good Times etc.

I don't get the Values ads but I would much rather see them than the constant medical ads or if you were a victim of -- you can sue ads on my Antenna station.

Seeing the ads is one thing, having them constantly shoved down your throat is another.

It's not like Christian adds. Are the only adds being shoved down peoples throat. Not that i really agree with you that they are.I don't think there is any where near enough of them myself.

I know they're not the only ones but they are the main topic of this discussion and others have already been mentioned.

And i am just saying. As long as others are allowed too.Christians should be allowed to aswell.

I am also saying that.I don't think it's such a bad thing. We need more good messages advertised in this world.
