which show Andy Griffith shined on the most?:The Andy Griffith Show or Matlock
well since Mr. Griffith passed away today at the age of 86 i want to do a battle of two of Andy Griffith's classic hit shows The Andy Griffith Show & Matlock now i know these are two different genres in the entertainmanet world of course The Andy Griffith Show is a good-hearted sitcom while Matlock was more of a hard-boiled law drama but which do you think Andy Griffith shine in the most?

I haven't given The Andy Griffith show much of a watch.I did just purchase a box set though.So'i plan too very soon.I did however love Matlock and i watched it everyday with my Grandma.I got a question'Who was your fav lawyer Matlock or Perry Mason? Also once again RIP to the great Andy Griffith.God has took home another Angel.

no offense hawkeye123,im not really a big fan of Matlock or Perry Mason but i think in my opinion both Mr. Griffith & Mr. them shine through with their characters
and sorry to be off topic but didn't Raymond Burr played Ironside as well? |

I liked both shows but I think TAGS was one of the best sitcoms of all time.All the characters just flowed together and Andy was the perfect man to be at the center of it all.
