i was wondering for years did michelle thomas and jaleel white ever date in real life i never heard anything about this subject in my life maybe the media kept it private and dident want the world knowing about it they both seemed really close on the show with all the kissing and hugging on the show when they kiss it looked real to me not acting lol, you can see jaleel blush in certain scenes with her i cant blame him she was cute, do you think they both dated behind the set ?

Not me. I know she dated Malcolm Jamal Warner from TCS, though and they were costars.

Their was no way family matters was going into the 10th season without that woman the show needed myra monkhouse to stop steve and laura from getting married that girl was crazy in love with geeky steve lol

I am sure jaleel wanted to date her but look at the age gap between the two actors when he was 21 years old she was like 30 years old i had no idea michelle thomas was 9 years older than him its weird she must of found the fountain of youth cause she looked like she was 18 years old when she was 29.

Yeah i thought jaleel would have tried to date the girl that played laura maybe he was shy to approach girls in his teens and early 20's he seemed like a nice guy in real life he is nothing he portrayed in the sitcom as the nerdy black kid with glasses, if i was the guy that played steve i would have dated both girls or ask them out on a date both of the girls was fine, i always had a crush on michelle thomas when i was a young man growing up in the 90's.

You are right they were friends and nothing more if they were more than friends it would have been all over the media and peoples magazines in the 1990's, plus i would not date anyone i had to work with everyday for a tv show that would be awkward.
