Default Why in the world did NBC air the pilot episode in Mid-November???

So if you was following this show from the beginning, you all of a sudden see that Calvin is not Pearl's grandson and doesn't live in 227???

LOL. Bizzare

BTW: Who was the Tiffany Hollway character? I can't find a photo of her and see she appeared in season 1

She was another Judy Winslow and Chuck Cunningham. Disappeared without explanation. But if you watch the first season, she added nothing, so she wasn't missed like the other two. When the series was over, you forgot about her.

She appeared twice during season two and then once during season three at the beginning of 1988 and that was that last we saw of her. She was still mentioned until season four. Kia Goodwin was a very good actress in my opinion. I wish she'd stayed.

When I first looked at her I thought she was the girl who played on that rare show you sent me called "you take the kids"

You must be talking about Caryn Ward. She also played Leroy's annoying niece on "Fame" the tv show.

I saw her on "Family Matters" first and then saw her on "You take the kids" a couple of months later.

I always wondered why NBC aired the episodes out of production order. I guess for sweeps month, they wanted to have a two parter, since the pilot had two parts to it. Often times, shows will do two parters during sweeps month in addition to the beginning and/or ending of the season. TVOne back in 2004 aired the episodes in production order and people were pissed that the cliffhanger to the pilot wasn't shown until days later. 'The Sidewalk Sale' was not produced until later on. This happened on the DVD as well.
