Trying to understand the history between Jerry and Newman - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Jerry always has a look of disgust when he sees newman and I was wondering is it because newman did something mean to Jerry in the beginning of the series or does Jerry not like Newman because he is Fat?-lol

Just trying to understand the history of Jerry's hate toward Newman

It was never really revealed on the show, but Newman was the polar opposite to Jerry in most ways, so I think that has a lot to do with it.

Newman was evil, but, I don't think there was one incident in particular that set Jerry off.

Yeah,Jerry hates Newman.Not for any reason in paticular.Mostly just because he's Newman.One especally hillarious episode. Jerry finds out his current girl friend.Used to date Newman.Ive never seen anyone. Look so horrified and disgusted in my life

I think its' just because Newman is so annoying that Jerry automatically anticipates it when he sees his neighbor.

But sometimes Newman is just sitting there doing nothing and jerry is still mad that he is there
