Chaz Bono to Guest-Star on "Degrassi"
Jun 29, 2012 by Sadie Gennis Chaz Bono is heading back to high school! The transgender activist has landed a guest spot on "Degrassi", People reports. Bono will appear as himself, playing a celebrity guest judge at Degrassi's Battle of the Bands in an episode scheduled to air this fall. He will have a scene with Adam Torres (Jordan Todosey), a transgender character who has suffered bullying after coming out. "I work with a transgender teen support group that is part of the organization Transforming Family, so when the opportunity to be part of a series that features a trans teen came up, I was thrilled," Bono says.
