Cool Marooned

I watched the FA episode that was on Me-TV today. In it Mr. French, Buffy & Jody get trapped in a cabin during a blizzard and they couldn't get in contact with Uncle Bill. I have to laugh because if that happened nowadays they'd have a cellphone. I have to say I'm enjoying watching this series again. I haven't seen too many episodes since I was a kid.

Cool

I don't remember that episode but it sounds pretty good. I suppose Mr. French wore his butler suit to the cabin, or did he actually wear flannel? And a cell phone would have been great to have back in the 60s for just that kind of emergency. I wish I could get ME-TV in our area.

Oh yea, he wore his butler suit. I think that was the only suit he owned.

I like it when Mr. French makes Buffy and Jody hot chocolate out of a chocolate bar and melted snow. He was pretty resourceful.

I have to admit that I am enjoying this show again after not seeing it since I was a little kid. At first I thought it was really corny but it's growing on me. Yes, I liked that episode where they got stranded in the snow with the very resourceful Mr. French. The silliest part was when he left to go ice fishing with a rotten potatoe and actually caught a fish. Who knew he was like Macguyver! Too funny.

I have decided to pass on my second watching of this show. Saw it when it was in production as a youngster. Although I am seeing THAT GIRL an hour or so later .

For some reason, I've never seen the episode on Me-TV in which Jody sings Every Little Boy Can Be President:

Every Little Boy Can Be President
Every Little Boy Can Be President
of the United States
United States
of America...!

Which season was that from? It seems that Me-TV never airs that episode!
