Confused Is 'The Cleveland Show' Struggling Because It Is Based On An African-American Family?

Controversial question, but do you think The Cleveland Show is struggling for survival because it is based with a mostly black cast? Do you people even care that the cast and most of its voice actors are of color? I know it sounds stupid, but does middle America care for this show? Why is it not a ratings winner like the other animated comedies on FOX?

I for one hope that that's not the case although Shows with mostly Black cast on them, esspecially cartoons does have a hard time finding that "crossover" audience(White Middle Class).

I don't think so...It's more likely because it's in the 7:30 timeslot, so not many people will blink.

But why is it in the 7:30 pm slot? Why is FOX trying to kill off this show?

I dunno...I see that 7:30 on FOX isn't a good spot because of football.

The Cleveland Show just isn't funny. I waited so long for it and was highly disappointed.

I think The Cleveland Show is much better than American Dad or Bob's Burgers. I really am surprised Bob's Burgers is still on the air but it has a good time slot after The Simpsons unlike The Cleveland Show.

The Sunday Night 7:00PM and 7:30 time slot is normally where Fox puts shows they are trying to finish off.

I think The Cleveland Show is funny, at least as funny as Family Guy and American Dad. It's a bit less graphic than those two shows, but the characters are more likeable in general and it makes me laugh.

Why isn't it doing as well? Maybe McFarlane fatigue. It's his third show that's basically had the same family dynamics and very similar characters and at this point maybe people are beginning to tire of the formula. I honestly think that FG should end...soon...because it's pretty well drained it's well and McFarlane himself has said he's only keeping it on because the fans want him to.

I hope TCS isn't cancelled, but I can't see it lasting much longer, based on it's timeslot and apparently mediocre ratings.

It is also the same kind of family. All 3 of Seths' shows have a father, mother, 1 son, (The Cleveland Show has 2, clevelands' son and his stepson Rallo) anathormorphic creature, Brian the dog and Roger the alien, and 1 daughter. Seth has got to wake up to reality that not all families in the world are like his on television. There those with all boys, all girls, families with single mothers, single fathers etc. For him to do the same thing over and over, I'm not surprise The Cleveland Show won't be around much longer.

Well, "The Cleveland Show" will be on for another season and it's airing on Adult Swim as we speak.

Not for me because I don't watch any of these dumbass cartoons on Fox! Even the 100% white ones.

Gimme Bugs Bunny or Tweety any day!
