Heart Remembering Michael Jackson

Remembering Michael Jackson today on the third anniversary of his death, June 25th, 2009. I will never forget how much his music influenced and changed my life. He truly will never be forgotten. I miss you and love you always, Michael.
To celebrate and remember his life, I will put up the video of the Motown 25th Anniversary where he did the Moonwalk for the first time. The most iconic moment in music history.

No negative or cruel posts please. They will be deleted. This thread is to remember what Michael left behind-his music and legacy. Thank you.

I remember hearing about that at work and I just couldn't believe it! My dad took my brother and I to see him at Texas Stadium (former home of the Dallas Cowboys) back in 1985. Michael and his brothers were there and it was an amazing concert! They had a huge TV screen and of course he did the moonwalk but it was soo cool to see it live and on that big screen! My all time favorite song of his is "Beat It".

You are so lucky to have seen it live, Andrea! It was my dream to see him live in concert. I am just devastated that I never got that chance. I'm glad that you had that experience, and I hope you realize just how lucky you are to have had that experience. What I wouldn't give to go back in time and go to one of his concerts. Cherish your memories of him forever, Andrea.

Every time that I hear his song named "The Man In The Mirror", I turn my radio up. Not only is it an awesome song, but to me, the way that Michael sang it only made it better. I love how he sang it with everything that he had in him.

God bless you and his family always!!!

Holly

P.S. I also love to hear him sing "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Black Or White", "Do You Remember The Time", and "Will You Be There?".

I miss Michael a lot. I loved him and he was my idol when i was a kid. I got several albums that he did with his brothers which are The Jacksons(this has the song Enjoy Yourself), Destiny, Triumph, Victory. I love these albums and i got his Off The Wall and Dangerous albums. I gotta get his Thriller and Bad albums. I was disappointed in his last album Invincible but he made a lot of good music with his brothers and solo. My prayers goes out to his parents, brothers and sisters because i know they miss him so much. I just recently saw Youtube footage of his brother Jermaine in a special room that Michael had in his house that has a bunch of old pictures that Michael took with celebrities he met and in another room, Jermaine shows pictures that Michael kept of his brothers, sisters, parents when they were young and he enlarged the pictures. Ya'll gotta see this on Youtube because Michael's daughter Paris posted the footage. I wanna thank Paris for doing that.

Ya'll can go to Youtube and type Inside Michael Jackson's Memory Room and you'll see the footage i'm talking about that shows his brother Jermaine walking around the room and talking about the pictures that Michael has on the walls of pictures he took with celebrities. Then in the other room Jermaine walks in, there's pictures that Michael has on the wall of his parents, brothers, sisters when they were young. Michael's daughter Paris posted this footage.

Michael's Why You Wanna Trip On Me song on Dangerous album i like a lot because he addresses different topics that the media should be talking about instead of focusing on him and the child molestation trial he was dealing with. He said we got gang violence, homeless people, bad schools, people don't have food to eat and no clothes and no shoes.

Dangerous predates the molestation allegations by almost two years, so of course he wouldn't have addressed them on that album.

Yeah, "Why you wanna trip on me" predates the child molestation allegations, but that only makes it even more poignant. Even before those allegations came along and some people started believing in them, media wouldn't leave him alone and just kept on writing crap about him. See also the video for "Leave me alone", that covers a lot of rumors, which circulated about him already back in 1988.

Have ya'll gone to Youtube yet to check out his memory room? If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. His daughter Paris posted the footage. When you go to Youtube, type Inside Michael Jackson's Memory Room and the footage comes up. Jermaine is giving a tour of the room and he's showing pictures that Michael took with celebrities and in another room, there's pictures of Michael and his brothers, sisters, parents when they were young. Very nice pictures. Jermaine said Michael brought the whole family to see the room and Jermaine said he was surprised because he couldn't believe Michael had kept all these old pictures. I wonder if the house that Michael kept all those old pictures was the last house he stayed in California. Was he living overseas before he died or in California? I remember before he died that he had lost his Neverland ranch because he couldn't pay the monthly mortgage because he was having money problems. I always wondered why did it take him so long to release new albums. He had a 3 year gap in between Off The Wall and Thriller. He had a 5 year gap in between Thriller and Bad. He had a 4 year gap in between Bad and Dangerous. He had a 10 year gap in between Dangerous and Invincible. 10 years is too long to put out a new album. I was very disappointed in Invincible. He didn't have any jams on there like his previous albums. I didn't hear his solo albums when he was a kid but i do like Rockin Robin song.

I also wanna say i thought that Michael was weird because of him dealing with little boys instead of dealing with women and he lightened his skin so he could look white. He said he liked being black but sometimes i felt like he wanted to be white. I also remember him saying that his father used to tease him about his nose being big and that's probably why he had plastic surgery done to make his nose smaller. He could've avoided those child molestation trials if he hadn't dealt with little boys. Michael brought all the negative media attention on himself because he should've left little boys alone. I understand he likes kids but he should've avoided that because when adults see a man with little boys that aren't their's, they think that's weird. He could've had any woman he wanted because a lot of hot women wanted him and sometimes i wonder if he had sex because i think he was a virgin. If he was a virgin, that's his business and i'm not dissing him because i don't see anything wrong with being a virgin. I feel that people shouldn't be rushed into having sex until they're ready.

I remember Tatum O'Neal telling a story of when her and Michael were alone and in the bedroom and she said he was very nervous about being intimate because she said she tried taking his clothes off and he was shaking LOL. I remember he dated Brooke Shields but nothing happened with that. He married Lisa Presley and that didn't last long. Last woman he married wasn't attractive and i felt he was using her just to have kids even though he didn't have sex with her LOL. Ola Ray who was in Thriller video with him said she wanted to be intimate with him but she said he wasn't interested. She said he told her that one of the video employees wanted her and her comment was like so what, i want you LOL. I just watched footage of her today on Youtube talking about his death and the working relationship that they had doing Thriller video and she still looks good. I read awhile ago that she sued him for not being paid for the video and i think he paid her. I was surprised when i read that because i don't understand why she wasn't paid. People think she was trying to get some of his money but i don't think so. Anybody in that situation wants to get paid for working and when you don't get paid, you're gonna get upset.
