I'm curious if anyone knows general ballpark figures of what the big 4 networks pay for concert/musical performance specials from very high-profile music artists. For example, ABC's A Very GaGa Thanksgiving or NBC's airing of Cher's Farewell Tour, which was watched by over 17 million people. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what a network would generally spend to acquire the rights to air musical specials like these, ESPECIALLY if it would be from a HUGE group whose reunion had been talked about for decades.
Thanks in advance. |

I don't know, but I'd also like to know how much the specials cost the network now as compared to decades past.
