Default The First Baby Boomers

I see that, as time goes by, this page still gets no posts by another other than me! The same holds true for the pages of "Gimme a Break!" and "Happy Days". Interestingly, yesterday, someone started a new thread on the page of "Caroline in the City". Being that that series has been off of the air the same number of years as this one and less of its seasons have been made into DVDs, maybe there is hope for this page after all! In any case, I see that my last thread on this page has forty-six views. I would like to commemorate this event by mentioning that in 1946, World War II had been over for one year. As a result of this, the first group of baby boomers started to be born. This being the case, when this show's lovely little Helen Hunt was born, the first baby boomers were seventeen years old. How about that!

Thank you very much for the response! I am so happy to have finally come up with a topic that someone thought was worthy of a reply! And by the way, I am a member of an organization whose national headquarters is in you home state. If you are at all curious about what the organization is and what I have to do with the organization, feel free to ask!

When I was in my early twenties, I was diagonosed with psoriasis and started all sorts of treatments for this disease. When I was in my late twenties, I started supplementing my income by being in many different studies of new drugs to treat psoriasis. These studies were at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. One of the perks for being in one of these studies was a year's membership in the National Psoriasis Foundation which operates out of Portland, Oregon. I really believe in the things that they do and I have renewed my membership ever since! In other news, I also recently posted two new messages on the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site. One was in the form of a new thread and the other was a response to an old thread. The new thread is called "Many New Uploads". This pertains to the topic of the one episode of that series in which this show's Helen Hunt made an appearance! Hope to see you there!

I'm sorry to hear that you we're diagnosed with that. What is psoriasis? That is cool that you are trying to find a cure and i hope you do.It sounds like a great organization. Was Gimme a Break a 80s sitcom or a 90s sitcom?I don't remember it for some reason.I do the name. But not the show.

In the first place, psoriasis is a skin disorder that has to do with the immune system. It causes cells to produce too fast and thus creates scales and flakes on the body. In other news "Gimme a Break!" aired on prime-time from 1981-1987. It starred Nell Carter and Dolph Sweet. They have both since died. In any event, it has been months since that show's page has received any posts by anyone other than me! In between the time that I was last here and the present moment, I brought another old thread to the top of the page. After I submit this, I am going over there to see if there is anything new. Bye!

An American company has put out the first season on DVD. However, if you want anything past that, you will have to look into DVDs imported from Canada. They have all six seasons of the series. I have the whole set from the Canadian company. They are a lot of fun to watch!

It's a very good show. If you like family sitcoms then I think you would like Gimme a Break.
