I just saw ROA today and man was I impressed. All of the players did well, except the 2 top stars of the movie. Juliane Hough and Diego Boneta who were just average. The one character who will really get your attention is Stacee Jaxx played by Tom Cruise. Tom did an xlnt job with that character, and he wasn't even the star, but he should have been.
Rock of Ages is a Musical or sort of anthem to 80s rock music and the Glam bands. The cast performs many of the hits from that era, and the dancing is amazing too. One of the funniest parts of the picture is a Baboon that Stacee travel's with named "Hey Man" The Baboon is so hilarious, not to mention Stacee Jaxx himself. I was fully amazed by this. It had most of the theater practically dancing in the isles. Something I have not seen in years. I give this movie a well deserved 10. |
