Eek Kristen Stewart Is Currently Hollywood's Highest Paid Actress at $34.5 Mil

Kristen Stewart Named Forbes’ Highest-Paid Actress With $34.5 Million
6/20/2012
by Aaron Couch

Perhaps 22-year-old Kristen Stewart really is the fairest of them all. The Snow White and the Huntsman star tops this year’s Forbes list of highest-paid actresses with earnings of $34.5 from May 2011 to May 2012.

Largely thanks to the $12.5 million (plus a share of the profits) she received for each of the two-part The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn films, Stewart dethroned reigning queens Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker, who last year shared the crown with an estimated $30 million each.

The two women dropped to numbers four ($20 million) and seven ($15 million), respectively.

Top 10 Highest Paid Actresses:

1. Kristen Stewart ($34.5 million)

2. Cameron Diaz ($34 million)

3. Sandra Bullock ($25 million)

4. Angelina Jolie ($20 million)

5. Charlize Theron ($18 million)

6. Julia Roberts ($16 million)

7. Sarah Jessica Parker, ($15 million)

8. Meryl Streep, ($12 million)

9. Kristen Wiig, ($12 million)

10. Jennifer Aniston, ($11 million)

it amazes me that the best way to become a star in Hollywood is, don't try to be an actor. Stewart can't act, she never could. I wouldn't mind seeing Carry Mulligan rise to the top. She can act circles around Stewart. And talk about backwards. Meryl Streep 12M? OMG!!! She's the best of them all. Torgo I agree with you. Hollywood is a joke.

Kristin Stewart is just riding the wave of the Twilight movies.

It's a lucky break for her.
That will end and so soon will paychecks at that level.
She is not very good.

But take heart. The others on that list include 4 Academy Award winners.
(and Jolie has been nominated).

Agreed. I hope she takes some of this money and invests in a good acting coach, because she'll be in trouble once Twilight is done. I always thought she was decent as a kid in Panic Room, but now I've come to realize that she truly is a horrific actress.

Yeah, she's horrific alright. That's why she's making 34.5 million dollars lol and involved in probably the most popular movie series around today. She will be popular for a very long time.Long after the twighlight saga has ended. That being said.I hope it doesn't end any time soon.I do agree that 34.5 million is too much for anybody to be getting payed though.

So money and popularity equals talent? Good to know. I'm not sure what's more appealing about her--the lack of any type of emotion or the constant dead eyes.

To me she is extremely bland and boring. There's no appeal there at all. I don't know, I hear behind the scenes she's a lot more lively, maybe she's uncomfortable being "on" when she's on the red carpet and having to do press, but you know, if you want to have a career as an actor, you can't look like you're just so bored with it all and not want to deal with the media. Everyone seems to love her right now because of Twilight, but once it fades from view, that love will probably fade as well.

That is exactly it--she is incredibly nondescript.
