Update On 'The Flintstones' Reboot...It May Not Happen For Another 2 Years
Q.
There was a lot of excitement when it was announced you were preparing a TV revival of “The Flintstones.” What happened to that project? A. It’s been postponed. When I suggested the idea to Peter Roth at Warner Brothers, at the time I had a lot more free spots on my schedule and it sounded like something that would be a good fit with the current prime-time animation landscape. By the time the I’s were dotted and T’s crossed, I was just so busy that I couldn’t accommodate it. I think at some point it could still happen.
