Interestingly, Green Acres and Petticoat Junction had alot of cast members live well into their '90's, but at the other end of the spectrum, were Barbara Pepper (Doris Ziffel), who died at age 54; Bea Benederet (Kate Bradley), 62; Merideth MacRae (Billie Jo Bradley), 56, and Eva Gabor (Lisa Douglas), at a relatively young 76.

It's nice to know they're still together. I'm joking, but it is nice.

Wow! I didn't know that Barbara Pepper was only 54 when she died. What did she die from?

Hate to ask, but why didn't they eat Arnold? I guess it is hard to eat a family pet.

I know this does not strictly fall under the forum question but Eddie Albert lived to be 99 years old, but his oldest son, Edward Albert Jr., also a TV actor who was in a lot of stuff, died at age 55.

I might add that actress Sharon Tate was nearly cast as Billie Jo Bradley as Petticoat Junction was beginning, and tragically she was murdered (years later) at a young age.

This was an okay joke, but unless I'm mistaken, even though it's called the "pigskin": Pigs' skins were never actually used in the production of American footballs.
