THREES COMPANY was a good show seen every episode and still find myself watching my seasons tv dvds everyday for a laugh while i am eating popcorn or eating pizza i think john ritter was a lucky man to be working with two beautiful women who seemed completely comfortable to be working on set with a man that was funny, i am sure thousands of men tried to audition for the role of jack so they can work with 2 gorgeous women on set lol, do you think John Ritter had a relationship with those two women behind set or no ?

The show had a great cast but of course John was the star. Every show needs a star and great supporting cast |

That kind of thinking was what gave the cast a poor send-off at the end. |

No the poster said he was LUCKY to be working with two hot women and I said they should have been glad to be working with him since he was a large part of why the show was a success |

The supporting cast was great though. They were very lucky on how everything worked out. They found good replacements for Suzanne and Don Knots was great when he replaced The Ropers. But John was the star. It might have lasted another year but the ratings would have fallen fast. |

I'm sick of hearing that line. John obviously deserves the most recognition because the show revolved around him. That's not the point. The others were still crucial to the show's success. People talking about them as if they weren't important as well is sickening. Did they carry the show? No. But suppose it was a show about Jack Tripper with no one there to support him. Could that have survived until 1984? I'm sorry that I prefer to see it as an ensemble show. Just as I prefer to see I Love Lucy as an ensemble show. Just as I prefer to see any show as an ensemble show. Srsly, don't mess with mama bear and her cast. These people are all important to me. |

I will say that John was the star of the show and that Suzanne, Joyce and Priscilla were all great supporting actresses. I think they all did it as a team. But I would like to point out respectfully that when the show ended, John was the only one offered his own series.

Well you are only as good as your supporting cast and John had a good one.
