Default Something I wished Theo would have asked his mother in the ep "Dance Mania"

"Mom, what exactly was the purpose of those tickets you gave me if I wasn't on Dance Mania with cockroach?

Follow up question: I mean the purpose of tickets is to be admitted to a certain event correct?

LOL

No matter how many times I watch this episode it just so weird that Clair gives Theo these tickets to a dance show and he has to stand in line So his mother gave him "standing in line tickets and not tickets to dance on the actual show

Theo should have said to his Mom at the end of the episode

"MOM, these tickets are fraudulent and should have never been given to me"

Well no one knew that they were only going to take a certain amount of people, even Theo and Cockroach didn't know that until they got to the studio. I think that they should have given Theo a rain check to go back the following weekend or put his name on a list for the next week since he did have a ticket. So asking Claire that question wouldn't have made any sense because everyone was clueless about Dance Mania only taking a certain amount of people.

Theo said it was a two year waiting list when he tried to buy tickets to dance mania in the past. So if he was able to get tickets to dance mania he should have been on the show.

So it was a 2 year waiting list to stand in line?-lol He should have asked his mother to find out from her hair dresser what exactly was the purpose of the tickets

well those tickets were bad luck because thats the last time we see walter on the show i guess after he did dance mania he thought he was tooo cool to hang around a guy like theo plus walters popularity at school probably grew like crazy people asking him lots of questions about tina, i think theo should have ripped the ticket apart and threw it in the trash can so they both coudent go on the show that way they could still be friends.

I think it's like if you buy a plane ticket on Standby. They over sold tickets to make sure that they had enough people in the studio. But Theo thought like everyone else, that if you had a ticket that you would get on the show. Since he had never been on the show I can see why he was ignorant to how things worked behind the scenes.

Theo should have demanded to speak to the producer of the show when the guy said he only had room for 2 more dancers since he had a connection to his hair stylist.

TVFACTFAN the producers woudent have cared what theo had to say to them they would have told him he still coudent get into the show cause they had enough people to dance with tina and if theo had an outburst and yelled at them he would have been arrested or thrown out of the building for harrasing the producers he could have gotten in with walter if he he had his mom come with them clair was sassy woman who always got what she wanted she could have demanded to let her son dance with the star or she would take matters into her own hands.

I don't think that the producer would have let Theo in, there are fire laws to abide by. Having Theo say that his moms hairdresser gave her the tickets would have been worse, because then he would have sounded like a little brat. When Cockroach told Theo "No, you go" then Theo should have went into the studio. It was Theo's fault that he didn't get to dance with Tina.

Yeah you are right, I think it would only have worked if the producer gave clair the tickets. But since it was the hair dresser it was nothing he can do at that point.

Tickets don't guarantee you a seat, or in this case, a chance to be on the dance floor. Tickets to studio shows only guarantee you a chance to be in line and hopefully you are chosen to get in, depending on the amount of people present.

I have been to a game show and a few talk shows. I get tickets for a particular day, but so do thousands of other people. The studios can't accomodate everyone, they allow only a certain amount of people in based on seating capacity. In the case of this episode, I am guessing the ticket holders were guaranteed a place in line...no ticket, no chance to even be considered getting in.
