TV David Boreanaz Hints That "Bones" May Be Ending

"Bones" Ending? David Boreanaz Tweets About 'Farewell Tour'
06/14/2012

Is this the end of the line for "Bones"? David Boreanaz, Booth to "Bones" fans, sent out a few cryptic messages about the possible end of the popular Fox series.

While he never said officially that "Bones" is ending, Boreanaz took to Twitter and said he was a "free agent" after this season, and that the "Bones" farewell tour was kicking off at San Diego Comic-Con.

"Bones" boss Hart Hanson has been mum on Twitter since May 2012 and series star Emily Deschanel has not commented on the matter.

"SDCC 2012 shld be a blast and quite possibly the last for #Bones ? Farewell tour? Look forward to seeing everyone there."

"Let's put this in sports terms. I'm a free agent after this season. So the Bones fair well tour is in full-swing."

"You must always keep your options open and ready for New challenges. The fear is the unknown and that's exciting."

Well I actually expected next year to be the last anyway. Ratings really started to fall last season. It's better to go off when you're still good than to overstay your welcome.

i am a huge fan of the show, but it really seems to have a lost something the last couple of seasons and it seems like they should start wrapping things up soon.

Yea I agree. I don't think Fox did it any favors only having 13 episodes last year either. Half the time I forgot it was on. They could have had half the shows without Brennan. I did enjoy the cliffhanger though. Hopefully they'll wrap things up good.

I completely disagree, I think the show is the best it's ever been. It hasn't lost anything.

Don't forget guys that David likes to troll his fans LOL. he does this every year, even Hart Hanson can't take him seriously

i was never a fan of all of Angela's drama, but as soon as they resolved THAT they started putting Bones and Booth together - and historically it does not bode well for a show when they put the two leads together romantically.

(I'm not really against them being together, I just think that hurts the show overall)
