I am a big time Parks and Recreation fan.
When I first saw Louis C.K. on Parks, I have never seen his stand uo comedy. He was just another actor. I liked his character, but he wasn't funny. He was basically a straight man for Amy Poehler. I don't think he was even in on a joke. The last episode his character was in, when he, Leslie and Ben had the uncomfortable dinner and having CK handcuff Ben to a urinal so he can beg ger to come back to him, was a bit creepy. It was a good episode, but he wasn't funny. He was actually a bit dramatic. But then I have seen his comedy act since then and think, damn this guy is funny as s**t. Why didn't they make a character out of his comedy act? |
