Is Betty White Our(US) Queen? If we had one? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Now I am not trying to compare them and I know that we don't have a Monarchy and whatever. But as we know Queen Elizabeth celebrated her Diamond Jubilee. I have read where some Americans have said that Elizabeth is while the Queen of the UK and the queens of our hearts, but Betty is Our (US) Version of the Diamond Queen of Television. Betty is one of the if not most adored actress this country, So would she be like our Queen of television?

Neither was born into the role and you really wouldn't want one, trust me..

I dont know if Betty is our Queen. I mean are we talking about living or dead people because I would vote for Lucille Ball.

With the exception of The Golden Girls, I dont really like her in anything else.

If famous ladies who have passed are included too...then yeah...QUEEN LUCY....For me, I Love Lucy is more than just the name of a show!
