Default Good news Blazers fans.We got a new Gm.

I just read his name but i can't remember it.The possitive thing though is he was the one who retooled the Clippers last year and that is a good sign,Because the clips won a lot of games and they made the playoffs.

In my opionion had Chauncey Billups not gotten injured,We may still be talking about the clips. He is also very happy to be a part of our orginization.Who has one of the if not the very best fan base in the nba.

Things are looking up now we just need a coach and to fill in some holes at center point guard and,on the bench.

I mean at the time I guess Oden was the smarter choice because of his size but no one knew Durant would turn out to be a monster on the court

Yeah,Oden was i expected him to be the next,Patrick Ewing,That's who he reminded me of coming out of college. But all he ended up being was the most frequently injured player ever. While Durant went on to be one of the best in the game today.

Durant will be just like Kobe in a few weeks, a title at the age of 23

It's good that they got a new GM. One down, one to go. Now we just need a new coach. I am hoping we will try and get Jerry Sloan. To get a HOF coach who was with the same team for over 25 years would be a huge feather in our caps. Jeff Van Gundy's name has also been thrown around as a possible candidate. Either guy would be great. Whoever we get, I'm hoping it will be a coach of these guys' caliber. As Shaq would say, anything less would be uncivilized. lol

Yes, Nelson would be great. My buddy Jeff ran into him years ago in downtown Portland. Said to him, great to meet you, I have followed your whole career. Don said, you don't know anything about my career. lol Then my friend proceeded to tell him about his whole career from the beginning. He was very impressed. Yeah, Nelson is a legend, and one of the all time greats. If anyone can turn things around for the city of Portland, it's him.

That's a cool story.Ive always followed him too.I love his coaching style. The fast paced high scoring game.We need a offencive minded creative guy.Ive been looking at free agents too.And there are some good ones coming up.I can't imagine,That some of there old teams won't try to get these guys back. But at the same time we got a lot of money to throw around.Steve Nash,Ray Allen,Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan. All become free agents.I know they are older. But they are all still really good. And have a lot of experence.Besides that we have 4 draft picks. So,it could be a nice mix of old and new.
