Did anyone else watch this last night? I watched it on a lark; I knew it'd be cheesy and lame but thought it might be worth a laugh or two.

But wow, I wasn't prepared for how lifeless it was. All of the "jokes" pre written for the presenters fell completely flat, and this was even with a young audience that was presumably the target for such jokes. The Sandler/Samberg/whoever the lady was piece was notably horrible. Sandler just looked tired and silly. The presenters all stood there waiting for laughter and there was almost none forthcoming. Most of the jokes were met with absolute silence. I don't care for Brand at all, but he did get off a few good ones in his opening monologue.

I did enjoy the Dark Knight Rises segment, but I avoided the trailer for fear of spoilers. And the Black Keys are always good; even Johnny Depp couldn't mess them up.
