Lol Moviefone: "15 Ridiculous Horror Movies"

The Stuff (1985)

It's not quite ice cream, it's not quite yogurt -- but it comes from beneath the earth's core, controls your mind and makes you explode in a vomitous fury.

(At least it's better than Miracle Whip)

Donkey Punch (2008)

Debaucherous partygoers smoke, drink and film anything they can look up on UrbanDictionary.com...

and to the surprise of everyone, it does not end well.

It's Alive (1974)

A mutant killer baby claws its way home to mommy and daddy.

If you think that's scary, just wait 'til it turns 18 and you get a look at its college tuition rates! Agh!

Jack Frost (1996)

A serial killer gets reincarnated as a snowman and goes on a murderous spree.

Man, they really need to control these frenzied crowds during the Christmas shopping season!

One-Eyed Monster (2008)

A porn crew, stranded in a snowstorm, is slaughtered by the disembodied privates of adult film star Ron Jeremy.

(sighs) Yes, really.

Death Bed: The Bed That Eats (1977)

We don't ask for much in our trippy, low-budget '70s movies about beds that eat people, we just ask for them to be a little more coherent than this "film."

Night of the Lepus (1972)

Townsfolk are terrorized by giant, man-eating rabbits.

There has to be subtler ways to sell us on buying more canned rabbit meat.

Black Sheep (2006)

This time, the townsfolk are terrorized by genetically engineered, man-eating sheep.

So, basically, don't bother going outside ever again.

Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead (2006)

A fast food chain is attacked by zombiefied customers possessed with the vengeful spirits of slaughtered chickens.

(we knew all this and still weren't prepared for how stupid it was)

Frankenhooker (1990)

Nothing we can say about this movie can top Bill Murray's (real) endorsement:

"If you see one movie this year, it should be 'Frankenhooker.'"

Uncle Sam (1996)

A Desert Storm soldier, killed by friendly fire, returns from the grave to dispense cruel justice on anyone who is "unpatriotic".

Dick Cheney called it "the feel good movie of the year."

* Joke supplied by guest writer Billy Crystal.

Killer Condom (1996)

(shakes head) No, just no.

Evil Bong (2006)

... Honestly, this is getting kind of exhausting.

The Gingerdead Man (2005)

* My DVD signed by Gary Busey

They made two sequels to this -- Passion of the Crust and Saturday Night Cleaver -- but Gary Busey didn't return for either.

The quality of the scripts must have really dropped off.

Monsturd (2003)

... We don't want to to live on this planet anymore.

I know some of those were not meant to be taken seriously but sadly, a lot of them were!

Also, the Ghoulies franchise and Hobgoblins should have definitely been on this list.

Yeah, I love most of the movies on this list that I've seen. I haven't seen some of the recent ones like One-Eyed Monster and Donkey Punch, but I got to now.

I also loved the Ghoulies films when I was younger.

The green Gary Coleman in the toilet is awesome.

I don't think It's Alive belongs on there, It's Alive III, yes. I also don't think The Stuff belongs either.

They have Black Sheep on here, but not the original mutant sheep horror flick? Which is 100 times more silly.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDPLe0SHeWE

Others-

The Giant Spider Invasion with VW Bugs doubling as giant spiders.

The Giant Claw-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOj0nXpRqX8

From Hell It Came, about a walking killer tree stump

Horror At Party Beach...the monster looks like it has a mouth full of hotdogs!

Blood Freak, about a biker turned into a turkey monster.

Ganjasaurus Rex
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9tl9Ao8CTM

They Don't Cut The Grass Anymore, the gore is basically yarn soaked in fake blood.

Revenge of Billy the Kid, farmer mates with goat and they have a "kid" together.

The Nostril Picker, middle aged weirdo learns how to turn himself into a teen girl so he can hang around in a high school and lure girls to their deaths.

The Creeping Terror, which looks like a pile of carpets.

Nail Gun Massacre, probably the silliest 80's slasher.

And you can't go wrong with a double-feature of Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter and Billy the Kid vs. Dracula.

One of my sisters took me to see Ghoulies in the theater when it was released.

Another one is Uninvited, not the remake of the Japanese horror film, but a low-budget 80's horror. A cat escapes from a lab before doctors can remove a mutation growing in its throat thanks to genetic testing. He winds up on a yacht and proceeds to kill off the people on it with his mutation, which is basically a gray sock puppet with a scary cat face. Here's the trailer:

Love this movie. It was directed by Greydon Clark who also made Satan's Cheerleaders, Without Warning, and Wacko.

I liked Satan's Cheerleaders and when I first saw Uninvited, I had a cat at the time and wouldn't go near him for a couple of days.

Haha both are great cheese.

Check out Without Warning, it's about an alien hunts humans in the woods. Predates Predator, and Kevin Peter Hall who played Predator plays the alien in this.

The films of Chris Seaver:

I Spit Chew on Your Grave
Terror At Blood Fart Lake
Taintlight (his spoof of Twilight)
Teenape Goes To Camp
His Filthy McNasty films
Mulva: Zombie Ass Kicker!

These are just the ones I've seen. He's also recently made a sequel to Blood Fart Lake.

Dial: Help, about a killer phone, directed by Ruggero Deodato(Cannibal Holocaust)

I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle, about a possessed bike.

Welcome To Spring Break, killer rides around on a motorcycle that doubles as an electric chair.

Cheerleader Autopsy, shenanigans abound when a busload of dead cheerleaders arrives at the local morgue.

Buttcrack, death doesn't stop this roommate from annoying everyone.

Barn Of The Blood Llama...hillbillies, mad doctors, and llamas...oh my.

The Worm Eaters, what happens when you eat food with mutated worms in it? Why you turn into a giant worm, of course.

The Corpse Grinders, when a desperate cat food company starts using humans as its main ingredient, the felines get a taste for human flesh.
