Woodpeckers are all Around Us

Like usual, this is the first of my four favorite pages on this site that I visited during this sitting. Also, like usual, there was very little that was new on any of them! None of my recent threads had stimulated any conversation. The only page that had generated any threads since the last time that I was here was "Happy Days". There was nothing about the new "Happy Days" thread that I had anything to say about, so I did not reply. However, I did attempt to stimulate some new conversation on the "Gimme a Break!" page by posting a new thread. It is called "The Boys are Back" and I would be very interested in what anyone here thinks about it! By the way, the fact that this was the first page that I came to is because "Caroline in the City" is the first of the four in alphabetical order which I tend to follow. In any case, I see that my last thread on this page now has forty-nine views and zero replies. This reality makes me think of a "Woody Woodpecker" cartoon that I saw in syndication a while back. When I looked at the credits at the end, I saw that it was made in 1949. That being the case, that cartoon was made twenty years before I was born! This situation has previously taken place on the "Gimme a Break!" page as well as the "Mad About You". On the former, I commemorated it with a thread called "Woodypecker" and on the latter, I commemorated with "Our Good Friend Woody". The fact that I had already used those two titles is why I gave this thread the title that I did!
