found some links on John Purvis. Lots of interesting nuggets of info. You really get a sense at how overzealous the investigators were, such as them pushing Purvis in a chair, telling him he would get the electric chair, and getting him to come into the police station a second time (after his mother cut the first visit short) after they stalked a drug store where they knew he purchased a T.V. Guide every week.
http://law.justia.com/cases/federal/...2/1413/288653/ this link also has some good info. It paints a clearer picture of how much a ***** Paul Hamwi is. Apparently, he was supposed to call someone to tend to Shane after Susan was murdered, but instead he let his daughter die as well. What a turd. http://www.leagle.com/xmlResult.aspx...WAR2-1986-2006 wikipedia article with some nuggets, including how the investigators zeroed in on Purvis because he was the "town weirdo", making him an easy target. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Gordon_Purvis charley project link to another person likely killed by Robert Beckett. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...art_tracy.html |
