Default Poor Clint Howard is an ugly dude

I like Clint Howard, but he was beaten with an ugly stick as a child. Ron Howard turned out looking normal while Clint looked like a methhead. I will say that the man has been married twice, so at least not all women ran away at the sight of him.

He was a recurring character on "My Name is Earl" playing a sketchy criminal idiot and he was perfect in that. I have seen him in other things, all the way back to Star Trek (and TAGS, but he was more or less a toddler then), and he looked weird in Trek (We need a kid who looks like an alien!).

Is there a physical condition that makes him that way, or is Clint just naturally ugly?

This is certainly a pleasant thread to start my Sitcoms Online day.

Though the guy isn't blessed with super model looks, I wouldn't say he looks ab-normal, has a physical condition, or is ugly! ...and Ron Howard looks normal? What do you mean normal?

Anyway, I think Clint has been type-casted for many years playing thugs, drug-addicts, drunks, and creepy characters. You have to consider he's made-up, too, for these roles. Often he has bit roles in Ron Howard's movies. And if it weren't for his brother, we probably would have never heard of Clint!

I always liked Clint Howard and thought he was a good actor. I liked the episode of the 'Odd Couple' where he is Felix and Oscar's little brother in the Big Brothers program and likes Oscar more than Felix. He always kind of had an interesting look to me. When he was a kid, he fell into the 'so ugly he's adorable' category. As an adult...well, somebody has to play those drug addicts and creepy characters.

I still remember Clint mostly from the tv series Gentle Ben. He wasn't an ugly child. As for his looks as an adult "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Clint Howard appeared in a Me-TV Streets of San Francisco rerun yesterday as a juvenile delinquent. As someone else here has stated, there had to be someone to play those parts.

I don't think Clint Howard is ugly at all. He's just a little different looking...sort of like Steve Buscemi. I don't think Steve is ugly either. Actually, I think he's kind of cute.

I don't think he's ugly either...Never have really...I thought he was cute as a bug when he played "Leon" on TAGS...

Also think it's kinda tacky to talk about an actor's looks....I could see if you were talking about the character he played, but this is personal...How do you know he doesen't come to this board and view what's been said?

I saw that episode too. Thought it would be fun to look back on Michael Douglas's start. As for Clint everyone can't be a Brad Pitt. Don't make fun of people. It's not nice.

Agreed although the original poster probably doesn't realize that not everyone can be as pretty as they are.

Personally, I think this thread needs to be sent packing, a totally useless one IMO.

Wow. How shallow can a thread get?

Maybe the OP should post a pic of himself so everyone knows what "normal" is supposed to look like.
