Emmy Awards? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi! Could anyone tell me how I can find out if All in the Family earned any Emmy awards
for either the show itself or the actors? My mom and I were watching a couple episodes
tonight (Edith's jury duty and the Jeffersons moving in next door to the Bunkers) and
mom wondered if Jean Stapleton had won any awards as Edith.

I remember watching the E True Hollywood Story on All In The Family and I think they said that the show had won at least one emmy. I know Jean Stapleton did win one for her role as Edith.

In the first season of the show All In the Family won a bunch of Emmy's. It even shocked everyone and won for best show of the year. One year I can't remember which, I think it was the first Carroll, Jean, and Sally all won an emmy in their catagory. So in the shows first season I believe it won atleast 4, probably more. I'm sure it won a ton more after that. I'll have to watch my tape of E's true Hollywood story to be sure though. I think Jean won a couple of Emmy's, but i'll have to find out for sure.
