It's been about 10 years since I wrote most of my LITB fanfics, but I've come to think of them with almost the validity of the series itself. And May 31 was their wedding date in the story, "The Third Time is the Charm."

"[June:] And on that evening of May 31, I remember your father saying, as we raised our glasses of champagne, ‘We got married among the sweet flowers of May—but June will be even sweeter tomorrow.”

I recall reading that fanfic tdr, and it was very well written! I wish we could read more about Ward and June.

Maybe you should think about writing a Golden Anniversary fanfic!
