Alright, the first name that sticks out for me is Angela Hammond. Heavens knows what happened to her, there is the remote chance she is alive and held against her will and probably even more of a remote chance that she staged the whole thing (very, very unlikely). But even if she was murdered, she was 5 months pregnant. If a serial killer had the decency to make sure Mike and Diane Riemer's daughter was safe and sound could they find a way for a baby to be safe even if the mother is murdered. This is assuming the baby was born before Angela was murdered. I obviously lean on the fact that both are dead, but there is that chance. Doubtful that a killer would give a crap about a baby 4 months away from seeing the light of day though.
For the life of me, another case which I can't remember fully, but which entails a mother gone missing or murdered and her daughter - Baby Shannon - still missing. I cannot remember the segment (a little help thanks) but I clearly remember Stack asking "where is baby shannon?" Are there other cases where a missing woman with a young baby (or in the womb) went missing and there is a chance the child is still alive? |

I think she was 3 months pregnant not 5 months but I could be wrong. I don't think the abductor/killer would've known that and killed her anyways. It's really a sad story. Some people still think her boyfriend Rob did it even though he's been cleared as a suspect. It's a possibility but I would like to think that even if he didn't want to be a father so soon that he wouldn't harm Angela in any way and let her be. Maybe he didn't even know she was pregnant?
The baby you're referring to is Shannon Timmerman, whose mother Rachel was killed by Marvin Gabrion. He is also looked at as a possible suspect in the disappearance and death of one of his friends, the disappearance of one of Rachel's male friends and a transient. I think he killed baby Shannon. If he killed her mother and possibly these 3 other men, then I don't think he'd have a heart for her either. Carlina White is one of the happier cases where she was later found alive some decades later. I still wonder if babies and children like Marlene Santana, Christopher Abeyta, Sabrina Aisenberg, Michael Hughes, Patrick Ackles etc. could be found alive someday. My heart tells me that at least a few of them are alive and don't know they're missing but that sadly someone or some people have killed the others. |

I'm sure there's a pretty good chance that Jacqueline Castaneda is still alive since she was probably stolen by someone who wanted a child of their own.
I always get intrigued when these missing babies reach their late teens and start getting into more situations where they're required to present a birth certificate. This was one of the first major reds flag for Carlina White as she became pregnant at age 16 and needed to provide a birth certificate to get prenatal care, but became very suspicious when her so-called "mother" claimed she didn't have one. This often compels these missing children to question whether they are actually living with their real family. If Sabrina Aisenberg is still alive somewhere, she will turn 15 next month, so the next few years might be interesting if a birth certificate situation arises for her. |

I would think the situations have already arisen. I have 4 kids ranging in ages 23 - 33. From the start I had to have birth certificates to enroll them in school and all kinds of activites they participated in. The school also required them to have a SS# too- they had to have it to be enrolled and early on the kids had to memorize them in school.
Unless the kidnappers were able to come up with fake documents that look real, I would think it almost impossible to enroll these kids in school and to get the immunizations that the schools also require them to have. |
